Yesterday I was working away on an application for a client, moving their (custom) menu code to use wxWindows. This application has different modes (empty, design, and run) where the menu bar is completely different.

Ok, that’s no problem, we just reset the menu bar and populate it with the new menus.

It turned out to not be that simple…
